Red face Dielectric Grease.

I guess it all comes down what your calling dielectric Grease.

Like lots of people call refrigerant Freon which is the DuPont brand name.

Or all brands of Thread repair Helicoil which is another brand name

Most all dielectric greases are non conductive the use is to help seal electrical connections and to also aide in getting them apart.

Like any thing common sense should guide the amount you apply.

Now this is most often my use but there are others .

The use of dielectric grease started to come into main stream use on spark plug boots but I have used it for years.

You really don`t want to use a electrically conductive compound on any multipin connectors it does not take much thought to figure out why.
