I have a 1999 Toyota 4runner SR5 with 275K on it...recently on the dashboard the indicator for the doors either stays lit, sometimes it flashes or now at times it dims. This issue has caused the interior light to flash so I shut off the interior light. The system thinks one of the doors is ajar so the automatic door locks sometimes do NOT lock. When I push the lock button on the remote (factory alarm) it will beep to let me know one of the doors is ajar when all the doors are closed. This was happening intermittently now its all the time. Now the alarm will go off after a few hours. Does anybody have any idea what might be causing this ?
