Does anybody have any idea where I can buy a replacement clock spring for my '97 4runner? I've been looking everywhere I can think of for three weeks now. PLEASE!!!

It's the name of the ribbon wire that connects the air bag, horn, and cruise control. At least that's the part name that I've been finding when trying to solve the problem. I've seen it called the clock spring and the air bag clock spring. Maybe there's another name for it and that's why I can't find it anywhere. I have to get my safety inspection and I have no horn.

Thanks, Elton. I already looked there. No results. I'll head over to the local salvage yard and see if they have any 3rd gen 4runners tomorrow. Thanks again.

It's sometimes called a "spiral cable".

One guy on here was able to solder his back together after it broke.
