Check engine light

My check engine light came on on my 02 runner the other day. I took it to autozone today for them to read the code, they said it was a "mass airflow malfunction". The guy suggested I change the air filter (which was due to be changed anyway) and also to spray some carb. cleaner up into the air intake. I did those two things and the light is still on. Any help would be appreciated. I'm planning a weekend trip and was going to drive my runner so I would like to get this fixed by this weekend. TIA

you can unplug the battery for 15 minutes which will reset the ECU..you will have to redo your radio presets....if the air filter replacement fixed it resetting the ECU should have the light go away...it might come back if it is another issue...
