does anyone know anything about these relays, ive been kicking my passenger side kick panel for years to get the dn charge light to turn off. I finally figured id replace it, auto parts stores have nothing that comes up, and people on ebay are selling them for $300+, has anyone found a replacement, or is someone rebuilding these. Or building them ˟˟˟˟. I need a 3pin, I dug out a 4 pin from my junk pile, haven't tested it to see if it will work, also. Don't wanna fry this precious thing. So does the 4 pin work instead of the 3 pin. Yall know what makes this replay so damn special?

 

Short summary: My '83 MkII lighted the charging lamp on my way domestic last summer. The battery changed into adequate, so I got domestic without any other troubles. I examine most of the 'no rate' threads here, and reckoned it became time for a new regulator. Since it become fall and the winters are incompatible with me driving the Supra on salted roads, I simply eliminated the alternator and let it sit till now. Finally I sourced a brand new regulator, and replaced it earlier this week. Wow.. No price, same mild on.. Found a damaged fuse within the 'fee' spot, simplest to comprehend it was in the parked position and all positions turned into skewed one spot to the facet.. 😜 Traced all wiring, and located the fee light relay. Mine had simply three prongs, and none turned into marked.. Being an engineer, I HAD to open it and see inner. Result: zener diodes and a faulty relay!
