In cab winch controls

I would like to wire my M8000 to work from in the cab without my controller.

I found this write up and I just want to make sure it will work fine. I thought this set up would require a relay.

Is this wiring diagram ok?

I an pretty bad with car electronics so i didn't look.

But RobinHood did a in car set up using mirror controls from a newer 4runner that worked out pretty good. There is a pretty good write up on it in here somewhere (couldnt find my bookmark)

Thanks, since the diagram I linked to was the basis for the mirror switch controller I should be fine.

My XP had a flipping ground that meant that diagram would not work.

I have not done the install on anything other than mine though.

I have an incab/outcab/anywhere I wanna be

I used this on the 4Runner, and it is now wired up on the FJ Cruiser.

There is a 3 MB video at the above link too.

Install guide PDF

It works really good, and the cool part is you can use it in or out of the rig.
Works upto 100' away too.

That is a nice looking one, along with the one by the 12volt guy.

I've got the Roadless Gear one too, a neat little mod.

Don't know if that particular one would work, but I have winch in-cab controls with a safety switch and a rocker arm switch that controls the in/out relays. I've been using it for some time now, no problems.

Third! I mounted mine in the cubby beneath the single din radio, next to the dual battery control/status.
