I have an 88' 4runner 3.0 slow. I started looking over the ac system to find out what the problem was. I pulled the A/C switch out from behind the climate control panel and saw a hole where the light bulb should be. So it has either been out in the past or fell out at some point. I just got the truck in Sept. i think and havnt needed AC till now so i never worried about it. Pretty sure the compressor is shot aswell. Back to the light issue...I went to Toyota to get the little light bulb, and imagine that... they dont sell them. Have to buy the whole $65 switch. Anyone know where i might look to find a replacement? or possibly have one lying around? Thanks in advance!

been awhile since i've messed with it but i have replaced that lite on a '93--assume it's the same--do you still have the old one stuck in the wireing?--if it's the same, i showed it to my napa dealer and got one from him i think, just a clear one because the green on the tip of the lite slips off and goes on the new one before you put it in--hope i'm thinking of the same thing and this doesn't confuse--
