Bypass yellow solenoid resistor plugs?
Hi-A rabbit chewed up a bunch of wires in my engine compartment of my 1987 22re truck, including the wires directly from two yewllow plugs connected to the solenoid resistor and a green plug going to the distributer. Can I bypass these plugs? If not is there a reasonable replacement? If so, where can I get them?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Just splice in new unchewed wire to get it going. Hit up the local junkyards and try to get a replacement harness. You only really need the wires and connections that were eaten up.

Thanks Bassmastry,
I soldered the connections for now, but I dont have a lot of confidence in them for the long term. I'm searching the salvage yards now, but was wondering what the purpoose of those plugs are? Just to change out the parts more easily? If so, should I have any problem just bypassing them with a quick connect? New to all this, and really appreciate the help.
