Anyone tell me or direct me to a schematic for the back window goodies .... wipers, washer, window up/down ? Swapped out my wrecked tailgate for a good one and can't get window to operate with the switch, even swapped everything out from the wrcked one into new one.... regulators wiring, etc., still nothing. Have a red top on front floor and 2 conductor zip cord ran to back window to operate it !!!

but if the new door is from a different year 4runner, then get the manual for YOUR year 4runner, and the year of the NEW door.

 

I'm about to rewire mine to just work on the switch in the panel and the key in the back. There's a short somewhere in all those safety interlocks in mine and I can't depend on the window going up or down.

There is a safety switch that must be closed by the wiper arm being in the full retracted position .

Also if you are bypassing the rear hatch window relay behind the trim on the drivers side it might not work .

Most windows also will not work when the hatch is open .

like said get the electrical manuals for all years involved well worth it to have
