Question Back up light idea I haven't seen...

Been thinking about doing this and haven't seen anyone else do it...but I picked up some $20 fog lights from Wally World....they are just clamped to the rear deflector right here, but this is what I think I'm gonna try...

I did something similar, I had a low profile driving light that I wired up with an old relay, I had to run a wire from the battery to the back to feed the relay clean power then just tapped into my passenger side reverse light + and was good to go, though the cheap wal-mart light eventually crapped out and when I put the new bed on I cut all the wire out and put it back to stock but with the camper shell on with its tinted windows that light was crazy bright for backing up at night!

Was thinking of doing something similar, but maybe thinner/longer and peeking out from underneath rather than on top, a little more stealth.
Yeah, I've got a lot more thinking to do....right now I'm leaning for a little further down, but not sure yet what I'll do.

I did put Silverstar bulbs in and they are brighter, a bit. Still not enough, though.

I mounted driving lights inside my rear window on the panel that has the cargo area light. I have to drop the back window a little for the full effect but they stay clean and bright and rust free.

Hey LK1...

Did you get a lot of glare inside if you didn't roll the window down? I like the idea of the lights being protected and lasting longer, but I think it's kind of counterproductive to roll the back window down anytime I need to back up...

I have 2 55 watters mounted to rear bumper. They really help when in the woods.
