I need a wiring diagram for the stereo connector for my 87 Pickup because the guy who had it before me cut it off and completely screwed up the wiring, so I have to redo it, and I dont know what colors are for what speakers, etc.

i think you have to be a member, i have been for several years, and i dont remember what you have to do to join, it used to cost money but i think that it is free now

i have full schematics of a '99 3rd gen, but just the above info for anything else

you can pay for a day and get all the info you want, same source that your toyota dealer will use for schematics

 

Do you know if that is the same for an 85 4runner? I bet it is.....

Thanks for that info. I have an 88 4Runner and it worked for me also. Someone took out the stereo in my rig and cut all the wires. They also cut the wires to another harness in that area. It is the harness that comes out from behind the stereo area and gets tucked to the drivers side of that console. It goes under the carpet and looks like it is under the carpet and console and runs towards the rear. Any ideas what that harness is for? Any free diagrams for cab wiring out there?
