85 Toyota Pickup 4x4 22R Hazard problems

I can not get the Hazards to work again. I have checked the HAZ-HORN fuse and is OK. I purchased a new flasher and no HELP. Check continuity on Hazard Switch and it was bad so I went junk yard hunting and found one and it checks ok. Still no Hazards. The horn does work.

Any Ideas?

Thanks

The turn signals work Fine ?? All the bulbs are good ??

the circuit to the hazard switch and turn signal switch must be open if the voltage is getting to the switch

As the hazards work through the turn signal switch perhaps the problem is in that switch.

Time to get some voltage readings.

Remember a single strand of wire will give you continuity or a very marginal contact on a switch but not be enough to carry the load.

^^^ A lesson I learned the hard way.

Do your blinkers work? The bulb holders can get really corroded.

I replaced the switch with the one I picked up at the junk yard and no help. Everything works except the HAZARDS. I will do some more digging around this weekend.

Thanks for the ideas.
