2nd Gen Sunroof wont open

Hello to all I have a 1990 4Runner and the sunroof will not open. The motor runs and but nothing Happens. Toyota Gave me an Estimate of $580 It cant be that hard can it?

If motor runs the switch must be working. Could be stuck, off the track or rusted out? Who knows.
