I have an engine harness that I bought for my 1990 Toyota pickup 22re 2wd stick shift. And the harness that I bought is different than the one that I have.
This harness came from a 1993 2wd 22re stick shift
so my question is can I just transfer the plugs from the old harness to the new one. Or would it be easier to get the ecm that matches the harness?
You're going to have to compare the EWD's for the two different years. People often are able to "Re-pin" the connectors but the wiring still has to match the electrical wiring diagram. Good luck with it and please follow up with how it turns out.
Ok thanks. Any ideas on where I can get some plugs that will match the ones that are currently in my truck? The last thing I want to do is cut apart the harness that's in my truck right now and not be able to drive my only vehicle.
