1998 4Runner Parking light replacement

Is it me or is it hard to change the Front driverside parking light on a 1998 Toyota 4Runner. Everything is so packed in, i can't find an opening. I am wondering if i need remove the headlight. Any advise would help. Thanks.

No it's not just you, they can be tricky to remove. You don't have to remove the headlight though. Just remove the one screw under the hood then pull the light assembly forward and up. Mine was really tight and I thought I was going to break it but it did pop out.

pop open the hood look near the corner of the fender on top of the headlight you well see one screw take that out now grab the light on the side and give it a good tug should pop right off
