Factory alarms are a mostly plug and play operation. Instead of having to use splicing and cutting, the factory alarm uses bridge plugs (thats what I call em anyways). In addition to the plugs, A few wires are piggybacked to other wires and will need to have the splice clip removed and the tiny cut it leaves taped over to prevent possible arcing.

Did you ever obtain this info? Because I need it too. MIt seems that my alarm has triggered and then died, and disbled my starter. I basically need to bypass the alarm to be able to start my car, but the 110F Phoenix weather is making it discouraging to open things up and poke around. I need to know what I am doing before I get started.

Any help would be great.

I never got the Installation Instruction... could not find it anywhere... cause Toyota DEALERs nerver gave out the Installed Instruction... They want $110... to remove the Alarm... The easier thing to do is that you remove the factory alarm system...
