this summer I will be getting new tires and would really like some different rims/wheels. they need to be strong I have a 12,000lbs boat to tow and usually my friends car because it sucks. they need to be able to stand up to rock crawling and possibly some dezert racing, the only ones that I have found and liked are spyder locks which look cool and are good but very pricey.

 

Is 12,000 a typo?

i have a 99 4runner and i bought black pro comp steelies 16 x 8 3.75 inch backspacing for 65.00/each at wheelers .com. they are in oregon so no sales tax.4runner is lifted 4 inches with 285 75r16 mt's

 

sry 6,000lb boat. not all the weight will be on the rear, pobably a 1,000lbs will be there but still i need some wheels that wont break and leave me stranded.

the tires that may be going on these wheels are 1. 38x15.5 R15 Mickey thompson Baja MTZ's, or 37x14.5 R15 (or 37x13.5 R17) Toyo Open Country M/T. I would rather have 17" rims.
