Are you talking about the allpro hybrid axle with a Toyota 8" center section and D60 outters?

If so, then definetly the D60 since the ring and pinion are substantially larger than the Toyota.

Roger Brown runs that axle I beleive

Assuming we're talking front axles:

Stock to stock, the Toyota is significantly stronger than a 44. 35's no problem on a Toyota, the Jeep guys recommend staying 33's or smaller on a stock 44. The ONLY reason to run a 44 on our trucks is for the width.

Built to the hilt, it's almost even, I would say a slight edge to the Toyota, and the Toyota is much cheaper to get there.

I agree with the above about comparing the Allpro axle to a Dana 60.

In the end, though, if you have to ask, either you don't need it, or you need a D70, a 609 (60 outers with 9" center), or a built D60.
