Midi,

So the Airaid works for 96-97? This is the crap I have on order so far:

TRD Supercharger
2.2 pulley
URD fuel setup
JBA exhaust (got I deal I think, stainless for $180?)

ordering:
filter (to do airbox mod)
Airaid (if it fits)

Not doing headers/high flow cat yet, need a new head unit first. Does the URD setup come with baseline setting? I don't have anything to "tune" with but I do work in SF Bay Area.

Yeup! I took a look at the pic and my stock intake looking at various points where the turn was and such. I really looked like it would fit, so I ordered one.

Low and behold... pop! it went right in there.

I wrote Airaid and sent 'em a pic; they were thrilled and sent me a hat. I guess they never updated the specs though.

Yeup, it sure does. Gadget and Brian are pretty good about preloading the boxes.

Have fun!

I purchased a 3.4 to replace my 95 3.0 this should keep me busy for a few hours (sarcasim) .
during that install I will be adding a 2 inch body lift, 3 inch suspension (brand ?), Headers and exhaust. Getting these mods installed in the next two months are my goals. I'm really gonna need some help from this forum on this conversion. Here is a pic of my new motor that I am rebuilding :bounce2:. Also I am documenting everything in this conversion with lots of pics and reciepts that I will start my own topic later with.
Thanks for the thread topic

I met Valentino Rossi at the USGP. Hanging out at the RedBull party, he was standing right next to me! I don't think i've ever been "star-struck" before.

The motor swap is complete and now I'm working on the suspension..
Its looking like cruiser coils and SDORI spacers will be installed this weekend. After that it's all about the lockers and supercharger in the spring.

This is just my DD/mill car, so not too many mods

Soon:
Tires (these are getting sketchy in the snow) - either 32x11.50 or 33x10.50
Upgrade engine grounds
Get new feet and install my Yakima rack
4crawler light harness
Fix radio antenna (Taco whip?)

Next:
Ball joint spacers and spring spacers to clear the big tires better

This summer:
Aux fuse block for all the light relays and fuses
Sliders
Bumpers and tire carrier
Locker

Dreamin':
node's turbo kit

Thanks for the props Jethro.. The Motor is freaking incredible I honestly think its one of Toyota's best designs so far.
The lift is going all right, the LC coils were not to much fun installing. I have to wait till next weekend to install my BS spacers.
Here is a pic LC rear coils measure 16" top of rim to fender lip.
Front suspension no lift measure about 15" top of rim to fender lip.

Thumbs up

The next mods are:

BJ spacers
33" tires
BL
Drivetrain lift
Aussie Locker
LSD in front
Custom bumpers
Custom light bars
Junkyard speed density or junkyard Mass air for the 3.0 (If I get fed up them maybe a 302!)
Camo paint job

So far nothing has been done! But I have the Rancho lift kit sitting in the box. Go figure

James

OME/ToyTec 3" lift, still sitting in my garage gathering dust. I'm waiting on a new set of front shocks.
Deckplate mod! I gotta get a dremel first.
