What does your engine bay look like?
Hey guys I have a messy, dirty, wires everywhere, no mods in my engine bay, so I was looking for ideas on
-Wire tucks
-Intakes
-Painted engines or valve covers
-Lights
-Snorkles
Yeah so lets see the bays.

From your signature I'm going to assume you have an '88 4Runner with a 0.0L engine? You will also get a more direct response in the 1st gen 4Runner section but as far as snorkels and lights go you have many different options and it's dependent on what you need/want. I myself have a roof basket with lights and fog lamps on the bumper. Wire tucks are both electrical tape and plastic conduits.
Edit: forgot to mention my picture is the avatar on the left. If you also want more pictures other than responses here you can also check out cardomain.com. You'll see lots of customized stuff from lowered, stock, to lifted.

^^^ I knew he'd be the first one to whore out his old and outdated photos. lol. Don't look at me, I am only subscribing to get the same ideas. Everyone that knows me personally and has had the privilege to see my engine bay, knows why there isn't any photos of my engine bay on here. lol.

Holy Toyoda! I just spent hours on your old thread! That motor is beautiful! You ought to post a link to it but I guess it would cause a flury of "thread archeology." I think in this case it would be worth it.

so lots and lots of hard work....research....scrubbing, degreasing....scrubbing and painting and help from my on-line brothers and from XXXTREME all leads to this when you get it running successfully (this IS Joe's 4runner by the way...he's not old enough to drive until next year)
soooooo.......pic whore???....I think so. always glad to show off the hard work we've done.
remember, the "devil's in the details".... a little here and a little there all adds up to one great looking engine bay. and definitely there is plenty more we could do.
