It's debatable:

I haven't personally tried it so I don't know.

I haven't yet but 2 of my friends have with very good results. One of them has a unit similar to the news link on his T100 and he is now getting 27MPG HWY. My other friend has in my opinon a more efficient set up on his Mustang Cobra and he is getting between 28 - 30 MPG hwy. The key is to tweak the unit to your vehicle( o2 , map sensors, ecu). I'm currently building 1 for my 22re as a test before I make 1 for my wife's car. I will post result when I'm finished. When you get a chance google smackboosters.
