upper windshield rust issue...rant

Soo, i got jsut about all the kinks and stupid stuff fixed with my 87 2x4, i had temparaly fixed the rust issue above my window, so having done everything else, i decide to fix the rust because after fixing it before it leaked again and im to anal to jsut deal with it, so i plan to ...cut out rust and weld new hand made peices in.

soo i cut, cut some more, and cut more....and find that the lip the window rests on is pretty rusty. im thinking ahhh f%$# i should of jsut let it be and stuck my more window sealer on it and sold it like planed and buy a earlie 4x4 toy, but no..i also happen to put a small crack in the window while im doing this.

So im thinking should i just get someone thats cutting one up to send me the peice, cut my old one out and weld new on in, or jsut weld in the peices i made and use lots of window sealer and sell it ..... pretty bad huh....

If you already made the the parts, I would just install them. Then if you don't like it you can get a scraped window frame

look what i did! i stuck some liquid metel in the cracks, sanded it down, ill post pics later, the roof line is pretty good, but i may have to cut it all out to replace the lip the window sits on, once i pull it, kinda bored and had free time, this is what did to kill the time.
