hey everybody, new to yotatech. made my account a while ago getting excited about getting my first yota but am actually using it now since i just got my 86 a couple weeks ago along with my 88 parts truck. we're currently working on fixing the floors/rocker panels and a little frame work too. I've been searching around and found some ppl have used roof tar(roof sealant foundation) implace of a rubberized undercoating. i went to fleetfarm and menards and talked to some guys there and they've heard of ppl doing that and think it should work pretty good. its made for metal roofs so i figured it should bond good to my frame/cab floor and such. the reason im even looking at doing this is cause its only $25 for 5 gallons Anybody ever heard of doing this before or done it themselves? any other alterative undercoatings? thnx
