tread life recomendation
Alright, it's time for some new tires. I will be running 33x12.5x15's. I don't too much offroad driving, just a weekend every now and then. I am looking for a tire that provides better tread life overall. Narrowed it down to:
BFG A/T KO- most expensive
Yokohama Geolandar A/T Plus II- read some good reviews
Dunlop Radial Rover RVXT-cheapest
Any thoughts? I get the feeling most people are gonna tell me to go with the BFG, but I want as many opinions before I lay down $500-600. Thanks.

I have the RVXT's and like them pretty well. I've got over 20k miles on them and not really any noticeable wear. They are very quiet and do extremely well in the rain and snow. The only thing I've seen is that the sidewalls are not as strong as the BFG's, but if you're rarely offroad and airing down, that won't be a problem.
What do you have now? Because unless you have 8" or wider rims, you're going to have to factor that into the price too (and you'll be well over $600). On the other hand, if you go with the 33x10.50, you can use your stock rims, no problem. Both the BFG and the Dunlop are available in that size. You'll also have less negative effect on your mileage because the tires are lighter and have less rolling resistance.

I had a set of Dunlop Radial Rovers on my truck and hated them. They shook so bad on the highway, even after multiple balancings, that I had to buy something else.

mud terrains seem to last longer on the street and give better traction off road. Check out the goodyear wrangler mt/r tires. bfg AT dont last that long on the street.
