ok so i got my truck towed about 14miles the other day. i dont really see the logic if the front wheels are off the ground and the rears are rolling and the tranny being nuetral? why is rolling trear tires independantly bad? doesnt make any sense to me

its not rolling them independantly that is bad, its rolling them with the driveshaft connected thats bad. The oil pump is on the input shaft, and doesnt spin in neutral, so you toast your gears.
