should I have total front end replaced 1997 4runner 130k miles. Front drivers side ball joint broke while I was driving

 

Replace BOTH ball joints and anything else that is even iffy. Use only genuine Toyota spare parts. Don't be afraid to shop for price though.

The same vendor may not have the lowest price on every part.

 

Thank you for your reply. Yes I was planning on replacing both ball joints and maybe both inner and outer tie rod ends.
I told my mechanic to order whatever he thinks should be replaced, That was a hell of a shock when I made that turn
and the tire just "broke off"....scared the hell outta me, thankfully I was going really slow into a parking space. I've had
this car 15 years and put 70k miles on it (now has 130k) I've taken very good care of it.
