Third Gen 4Runner Roof Rack question

I have a 2000 4runner with a factory installed roof rack. I want to get a ski carrier for it. any idea where to look on line? My guess is that there are several that might fit, but not sure where to start. does anyone know who actually makes the factory roof rack for Toyota 4runner?

This is by far the best forum for toyota owners -- I have saved hundreds of dollars by using the tips/advice here. Thanks very much. :bigclap:

cheapest way would be to go w/ yakima or thule... i have the yakima powderhound (actually thing that carries the skis) and can be attached to the factory racks by way of their "mighty mounts" do a web search for either to get a more in depth desciption of the products... hop that helps

I got a Thule from REI around labor day and can't wait to put it on (but I won't until it starts to snow here). The rack is a "Flat Rack 6" Model No. 725, and for my purposes it will hold four snowboards or six pair of skis, and it looks like it should work well. To attach it to the Toyota factory rack I got Thule "Fat Mouth Clamps" Model FM-1, and they are just a universal clamp that attaches the rack the roof rack with some pieces of rubber. They cost 160 before tax for both of them if that helps you any.
