was there a TRD model in 89?

was there a TRD model in 89?
a guy has an 89 toyota pickup i was looking into for parts. he says its a trd sr5. did they have a trd model that old? i thought it started in the tacomas. if there was that model in that year would it have a locker?

Didn't know it was that late, but there are definitely no 89-95 pre taco body styles with TRD trim from the factory.

yeah i told buddy i didnt think there was trd before the tacomas and he laughed at me and told me there was lol. saves me driving a couple hours to look at it. thought mayby it was rare one.
