Ok, I have an 89, but this may be useful for folks with other years.
I have a lock box behind my cab. It has a single lid that opens towards the cab. This isn't my lock box, but it shows the problem.
The red arrow is where the hinge is. The red line shows how much pivots directly towards the cab. The blue show where it sits on the front edge of the bed.
If I have it all the way forward so the bed keeps it from sliding forward and prevent a gap, the lid hits the cab. If I keep it farther back, it can slide forward and it leaves a little gap where stuff can accumulate or get in (I want to get a partial tonneau at some point).
Does anyone know of a surround/bezel to keep it in place and keep that gap covered?
