Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anybody knows if a fuel door from a 81-83 Toyota Pickup 2WD with lock can fit on a 83 Toyota Pickup 4WD fuel door without lock?

IMO better to alarm it. No fun seeing a locked door pried open with a crowbar or screwdriver. I was thinking to stick one of the anti theft spring inserts in the filler but dont know if there still made? My gas door is so tight it sets of the alarm

 

The place where the spring bumps in to latch is the same as on my 2wd one that had the lock, so that's my vote of confidence it will fit.
