I'd be cruising at 60mph, in my 91 3 liter pickup, ease off the gas pedal, and suddenly for 1/4 second, it was as though someone had switched off the engine and then turned it back on again. Any ideas of what the problem might be.

 

Dead spot in the throttle position sensor?? TPS
