Yeah I have the "Super Blues" they were cheap and I scored them from wally world(Wal-mart) They are deffinantly brighter and they are not yellow at all.
They go by the name Blue,They are bluish-white in color.
They helped my night visabilty a whole lot.
two thumbs up for me!

i used to use the silverstars in my integra, they burned out every 6 months on the dot...my buddy has some in his civic, they have been in for like 2 or so years and he has never had a problem...they were def whiter, and helped at night, but the white light sucked in blizzard like conditions...but in SC i dont think you really need to worry bout that too often...

I had a set last me two years..still on the second set. They made a crazy improvement over conventional sealed beams which usually suck hardcore.

I reccomend them.

Look at upgrading your Headlight wiring harness. I upgraded mine and the difference is amazing.

Folks seem to like them, aside from the short lifetime. Making sure you have as close to battery voltage at the back of the headlights can go a big way to extending bulb lifetime:

If you have more than a 1/2 volt drop to the headlights, the lifetime of a halogen bulb starts to fall off.

I'm on my second set. The first set lasted about 8 months. But I love the difference...I also installed a heavy duty headlight harness. Got it for like $30 of performance products, that made a really big difference.

They will go quick if you have DRLs but I don't and mine are going on almost 30 months. They work great but in the wet at night they seem so-so but my Hella Yellowstar replacements in the fogs really helped out.

Also remember to never start your vehicle with the headlamps on since the voltage spike will sometimes blow out the bulbs.

i have sealed beam silverstars. working excellent after a year. The sealed beams have a great pattern and there acutaly glass not plastic. We also put silverstars bulbs in my brothers truck and they work awsome as well. I just saw some h3 silverstars. I think im gonna try one out to se if there better for off road lights.
