I never really liked it in the first place but my dad is a big fan of them. Right now its starting to peel on the top of it all over. So should i just wait till its horrible and then take it off. or take it off now. I like the "truck" look without the shell and i dont haul anything back there.

Ideas?

 

If it's a fiberglass shell, it can be repainted. It's no big deal for a competent body / paint shop, but it won't be cheap.
