sfa steering stop bent

One of my steering stops are bent inward pretty good on the solid front axle that I am rebuilding. Should I try to beat it out somehow or just leave it as is and add plating to it to beef it up?

If you can, bend it back and weld some 1/4 or 3/16's caps to the top and bottom of the stops. That will make them strong. If it's bent too bad, cut them off and weld a piece of angle iron where the stock stop was located.
