Sequoia love.... Where is it?
#1
Hey all,
I was TOYing with the idea of getting one.. I would like to Mirror my present 4 runner(97) I would like some more HP and just a bigger truck to haul my crap. I LOVES my present truck , but it concerns me when i hear the Laboring of the engine when i hitch up my 1K jetski or my Pop up(1800lbs).I not a speed freak or anything..I do baby the truck when i drive it towing or not.. I did have Toyo install an aux cooler for the transmission, but i think that was just for peace of mind. I know gas is expensive. My Toyo or the next one.. is not my daily driver, so during the week it normally sits and then i use it on the weekend.
Thanks.
Any ideas?

Dirty,
Thanks for the reply. I would not be Buying a brandy new one. I bought my 97 4 runner brand new- I wont' go through that again..I thought that IF i did do this i would get one maybe 2 years old maybe even 3 . The dealers are having a hard time getting rid of them, So thought if there was anytime to buy now would be the time.
Yeah, they are Big huh? I though if i kept my runner in the rain it would sprout into a Sequoia
No Luck yet.

I agree with Dirt, if you can afford it go for it. Just keep in mind that fuel prices aren't getting any cheaper and resale may be problematic if gas is $10+/gallon.
But I hear you about the power thing. Try towing a 4000# trailer around with your 4runner (what I do). If it weren't for gas prices I'd be buying a Sequoia with you.
Cheers

Europe ain't the only place where they have expensive gas!
Rosie O?
There goes dinner.... and it's only breakfast time!!
I know about the gas... I did think of that.. it will get to be very expensive.. and although i will only drive Toyota for MY truck(company car is a chevy Frailblazer=i dont pay for gas)My Sequoia will Primarily be used on the weekends and for Fun time... that will save me some Loot except on long trips.. then it's bend over at the pumps...
