My problem is i was cleaning the ice of my wind shield and put a scratch on my window, so i was just wondering if there is any kind of scratch remover i can use on my window? its not that bad of a scratch but i still want to get it removed. any help will be great

"That'll should buff out". Thats what a few have said about my side window carnage. I'm not sure what is used. A buffer and probably some type of sanding/buffing stuff. Let us know how it goes and what you use. I have about a three square feet "scratch"

There is a product that is meant to remove hard water or hot wax stains from the glass. It has an abrasive, like fast orange. It is a paste that you apply, then buff off. It really worked well on my glass. The label has worn off because I keep it in my toolbox, but I think it may be called Bio Clean, or someting like that.
A product like this may blend, or aid in masking the scratch you have.

I work in a glass shop, and there is really not much that you can do to fix a scratch, it will always be there, the scratch will not spread or crack so there is not much to worry about.

1990, you prob dont have comprehensive insurance on that... this may be a good topic for a new thread, but when i had a 91 (other brand- unimportant
) i stil carried comp for another 150 a year, which covered glass (one windsheild from 4 big chips), natural crap that happens, vandalism, theft, and a $1800 repair due to destroying a deer.... seemed worth it
ive heard about products that take out really light scratches, but cant find it anywhere, good luck again

I tried the eastwood kit on my side windows. They are all scratched up not sure from what. They were like that when I bought it. The kit did help some but I was never able to completely remove the scratches.
just my 2 cents worth.
