Rims/Wheels - removing paint?
I found a pretty good deal on the local bc 4x4 board for a set of SR5 alloy rims for my generation of truck that I want to swap on my truck in favour of my steelies. The rims are in excellent shape, but the only problem is the guy who owned them forgot he painted 1 of the 4 rims a sort of brown/grey-ish colour but I took them anyways as it was too good of a price. Anyways, I'm curious what you guys recommend for removing the paint (should I get a pro - have it polished/refinished?) so the 1 looks like the other 3 i.e. stock silver/aluminum, etc. Thanks.

What I've used before was aircraft paint remover. Just spray it on and let it sit for about 5 minutes, then scrape it off with a flexible squeegee. Repeat if necessary. It works great. Just a tip though: use gloves. Your hands will itch if you get it on your hands. If you do then just rinse real quick.
