Reasons why I hate owning a Toyota
I'm my families emergency response vehicle!!!
Anytime there stuck in their driveway who do they call? my brother's wife happened to get both their honda accord and dodge dakota stuck in their snowy driveway.
My GF saab doesn't want to start up outside of starbucks the 4runner has to come to the rescue.
Anytime a family car has to go to the shop I have to be the chauffeur until the car leaves the shop. The most notorious mechanic shop queen is my bros Land Rover haha.
One of the guys I work with has 84 porsche 911 that stalled out about a half mile from work so I had to strap it up and tow it to a parking spot until a tow truck came and got him.
I guess all these things come attached with having a capable tow-ready RELIABLE vehicle. Let's hear some reason why you hate owning your YOTA's

They sent a girl from work to pick me up. So no getting out of going to work. That was the 3rd time in 3yrs Id called in for anything. I later quit that job (and now im unemployed =[ ) after they kept screwing me even tho in 3 yrs ive (ambulance from work) been sick then out one week and that day with the truck. I hate crappy employers

The only thing I don't like about owning a Yota is that most of my friends are all about Domestic Trucks so they always makefun of me.lol. But I know I could out wheel all of them in my Yota, so the jokes on them.

The only things that have ever been wrong with my truck where stupid high school wheeling screw ups and stupid underfunder high school modifications. suck as cheaply done half ass lift that has been the bain of my existance since I've moved out. Other than that never had a problem with my truck. Although I'm thinking about rebuilding the 3.0 now on my terms so I don't have to on it's terms down the road.

I love my 4Runner. Everyone else in my condo hates it! I guess it looks bad next to their brand new 20 or 30 thousand dollar cars that will die before my $600 Yota does, and probably before they're even done paying their cars off!

This past weekend in the desert we found an F350 diesel 4x4 stuck in a wash with some loose sand, Id say like ooohhh... 8" deep at most. We come to find out the guy didn't know how to put it into 4 wheel drive. Ahem... hehe. Anyways, we had to pull him out with the LandCruiser.

things i hate about having a toyota:
the power i had in my old 66 chevy with a 350 just ISNT there, and even the new tundras cant compete with that kind of power, IMO
the damned spring in the bench seat that somehow always manages to find the most sensitive part of your lower back
rednecks in dodges and chevys make fun of it while offroad (ford guys ive offroaded with have learned to respect it)
the only selectable locker for the diffs is from ARB, which is around 800 per locker.
the location of the oil filter on the 88 22re
the location of the fuel filter on the 88 22re
now, things i love bout it..
great mileage
300,000+ miles, still runnin better than my boss's ranger with 190,000 on it
if you go on a ford forum and talk about getting a new ford, coming from a toyota, a lot of them will tell you to keep your yota, since theyre a good rig, that theyve had a few.. lol
and i dunno i just love the way they look compared to domestics.
PS: the NEW F150s (2009???) are UGLY!!!

one of the things i hate about havin a yota is whwn people ask you how much money you put in it and teh they ask you how much u paid they look at you like your stupid. but those are the people that havent had one.. someday theyll understnd. the thing i love is when i had my cavalier some people would tailgate me, now that i got my yota, few people do. and when they do, i go even slower! aint nothin for me to go 15 in a 45. been there done that

lol just think if you had a full size truck you would get even more people asking you to help them move.
look at my 86 I set it up where it is almost impossible to fit any furniture in the back of it.
I have a 4x8 trailer but not many people know I have it.
