My crappy amateur photo skills are all can afford. I would love some "sweet" action videos, some cool animations, and a killer website! But just like you gus out there, wanting a Blazeland LT kit (and trying to scrape up the money), there is alway Next Month!

I think all you need is a YouTube account
Have somebody video you on a digital recorder and download it to YouTube...
But make sure you tag it properly. If you even use LandRover in the tags, it'll come up in the related vids of ppl watching LandRover vids...

I have access to a commercial producer too. Pretty sure he could make you a little short film and what not to help with advertising? hah He's highly skilled with after effects.

I think were getting off track on this thread, sorry about that. Anyway back to the Rancho kit. I wanted to point out a few other details about the Differential Drop brackets that came with the Rancho kit. In the following photos I am showing only the crossmember brackets and not the two brackets for second and third attachment points. As you can see in the photos the brackets lower the differential but not the pivot points for the LCA. This will result in about 3" of lost running ground clearance.

In the next photo I am showing a few Diff Drop Crossmember brackets a expirimented with. The top bracket lowered the diff and only lost 1" of running ground clearance plus it added some protection to the differential itself. 3rd down was a stock crossmember I built that only lowerd the diff 1-1/2" but also lost the same amount in running ground clearance. The bottom bracket lowered 1-1/2" and didn't loose much ground clearance because it supported from above. This was great for installation and removal for the front diff but offered no protection. For this method you would want to add some sort of trail armor.

I have discussed the Blazeland / Drop Bracket combo kit a number of times here on yotatech! Do a forum search and get back to me. Type in Blazeland in the forum search and you should find a few things

I have the full and complete kit now, blaze. but now i've run into the fitment issue. not sure what im gonna do with it now. I looked at the torsion bars compared to the stock torsion bars, Oh my god... what a huge difference in thickness.

I only have the Rancho UCA's and center link with adjusters.
I want to fab my drop support so I don't care if I have the POS Rancho bracket b/c of the lost ground clearance... I want to grab my axles front diff cover from the top!
Every straight axle know to man is exposed, so I don't see why this can't be any different?
The question is: Am I missing anything vital? I've got an old "Performance Products" catalog and the kit shows a ton of nuts bolts and caster thingies...
Can I run with what I have OK?
BTW, The kit in the cat says factory travel is 4.6" and with the Rancho kit, 7.5"

The difference with a straight axle is as the suspension cycles the diff moves with it. In IFS the diff is static. So with IFS as the suspension compresses the diff gets closer to the ground. Fully compressed with the Rancho dif drop installed the running ground clearance is only a couple of inches off the ground. Running in the whoops at speed with a high crown and you are grading the road. With that said the attachment points in this set up isn't very strong so your very likely to do damage.
The best solution is to install some custom CV axles and not lower the diff at all. Tried4x2, it sounds like you might have all you will need to go this route. UCAs, centerlink, and Tie Rod Adjusers is what Downey sold along with mega travel ball joints and slip yoke axle shafts.

Rodg-0. Thanks, N8...
My goal for the build is very light wheeling mostly in mud or trail and as close to stock look as possible. I want to retain the MPG and driveability so as little as possible on the custom and pricey.
I'm fighting the urge VERY hard to fab up a 8" Supra/ Celica(?) rear, front
I would off-set it slightly to the center, as much as possible, and straight shaft it to the tripods.
But IMO, every way I turn on this nothing about it will be cheap,,, and I just as well SAS it...
Toyota gave us a VERY good IFS it's only on a few things they screwed the pooch...
One was the 7.5 the other was the travel. Other than that, as far as a factory IFS I doubt you'll find a better one out there ex maybe a H1 Hummer.
Lift anything with TBars on the bottom and you'll see what I mean.

hey blaze........that's NOT a toyota diff cover on the right (the damaged one...)
the angle for the front mount is different than the good one.........
or atleast it doesn't look like one to me?

Camo you have a good eye! But it is a Toyota diff cover. There are some changes over the years with different models and different options. If memory serves me correct the damaged one is from the Fordota (a 1986 4x4 pickUp) and the good one was from a 1998 T-100. Cant get anything by you guys! I might also point out the angle might just be a result of the damaged diff cover leaning back. The camera angle may also be a factor. They should be interchangable!
