Profit I can expect from partout?
I have an '89 Extended cab pickup with most of the options. Clean interior, decent exterior, rust free, just a good clean truck minus the passenger door impact that is having me consider this part out.
My question.. how much can I expect to make from parting it out? I understand it may take a while to fully sell it off, but I'm willing to wait.
Thank you, guys.

What labor rate do you Charge?? Myself my time is valuable .
Then figure your time it takes to pull different parts.
To figure a profit how much in expenses do you have in your crashed truck prices for parts are adjusted by just how bad someone else thinks they need them.
Shipping anything truck freight gets real expensive
Unless your going to sit in the chair while the people buying the parts remove them
Parting out A Toyota is a labor of love to help others out the idea of making a profit when we are the cheapest people ever.

Here in the Midwest, major parts will sell quick, bed drive train, and some odds and ends. After that you are stuck with a shell. I work on enough Toyotas that I use more then just the common parts but that is rare. If you want to post them on sites, then you have to mess with shipping and what not. Every now and then a friend of mine has some one to come a ways off to get first gen parts but 2nd and 3rd gen parts are more easily available.
If the frame is rock solid and just has some surface rust, I would be interested in it. I only go $100-$150 though. You might do better then that elsewhere, but that is what they go for in my area. I am actually looking for just and extended cab and frame. I have most everything else to put one together. Yours I would only be interested in frame.

Thank you for your input, Terry and Wyoming. I really appreciate it!
I don't think I'm going to part her out.. I'll save my money and fix her how I can for now and then figure out a better plan when the funds permit.
Thank you again!
