I see in your sig you have a 95. My 95 never had a head gasket fail in the 175,000 miles I put on it. A friend of mine has a 95 with over 200,000 miles. Never had a head gasket go. I know of a few other 95's with original head gaskets as well.
I was always under the impression that Toyota had solved the issue by then. Just in time for the 3.4l. lol.
Of course I still kept the cooling system in top notch condition and I didn't drive it too hard.

It is true that I do have a '95, but I hydro locked it. I was going to rebuild it but just got a used one that was rebuilt in '04. I REALLY hope they used good gaskets, they said they could have used a few different kinds, but the stud bolts were Toyota.
He is parting out his truck cuz its a rust bucket. I just hope luck is on my side for the 7k mile road trip this summer.
