I have a small intake leak on my 22re. It's on a small half in spot on the corner of the manifold. I plan on fixing it in the next week or so when it's not so bloody hot outside, but in the meantime would it be safe and viable for me to smear a small amount like a band-aid on the outside to patch up the intake leak?

Im asking first rather than trying because I dont want to potentially ruin a tube of gasket material and have it not work.
