painting inside of cab and firewall
#1
I have my cab completely stripped. I need to fix one small rust hole and some surface rust on the floor. I'll be using the floor pan/trunk kit from POR15 to do the repairs. I also need to remove the rear glass (going with a solid back window) and the windshield (cracked).
Would it be easier to have someone professionally spray the inside of the cab and firewall, or pickup some paint and spray bomb the thing? The floor and the lower part of the firewall will be done with POR15.

Depends on how nice you want it to look.
If you are just going for function over form, spray it yourself.
If you want it to look nice, have it professionally painted. And no, Maaco and Earl Schieb are NOT professional paint facilities.

I would like it to look nice but it will get covered up anyways (carpet, interior). I know someone who works at a body shop so havin a professional do it is not a problem. I've seen his work and he does a good job.
I might have him paint the outside rear of the cab and under the hood (firewall, wheel well). I need to talk to him and get some prices.
