Overheating issues?

I am having some issues with my '93 runner. lately every time I pull my snowmobile (1 sled on an aluminum trailer, so not that heavy), as soon as I stop my coolant is boiling hot, full blown bubbling style, But the guage at the same time is reading normal temp. Im pretty stumped as to what it could be, I have been told thermostat, waterpump, and low on coolant, but the coolant level is fine. Anyone ever have this happen before, or have any ideas as far as things to look for?

It could definetly be your thermostat, or it could also be the relays are not reading the tempature correctly. It is something you definetly want to check before you act on it, because guessing would be a waste of money if you did it wrong.

Check your relays, and if they seem to be alright, then get your thermostat checked out.

Thanks for the tip. Yeah, I definately need to find out what it is before I throw money into it since I am in college and money is hard to come by! Where are the relays for the temp guage located and how do I go about checking if they are ok?
