I barley ever listen to music while im driving, just have the radio quiet most of the time so im not too worried about a system for the truck, The little 4" Sound streams are pretty loud for what they are anyway.

System in my car:

Kenwood deck (2005 top of the line)
JBL 6.5" components (Doors)
Soundstream L.O.S. 6x9's (Rear)
2 JL 10" subs
Alpine 700watt Mono amp

As loud and clear sounding as id want a car system to be, no point in putting big $ into something I dont use that much, I got the Subs, Amp and JBL speakers for free so cant complain!
you should've fabbed up some spacer rings for those soundstreams, as they are awesome speakers

As for the equipment ... wellll ....
Sound quality system:
Clarion 9255 head unit
Clarion 6 disc changer in the "glove box"
AudioControl preamp
AudioControl EQT's
USAmps Xterminator 5500 (custom heat sink to match bass amps)
JL Audio VR coax's in custom kickpanels
JL Audio 8W6 in the dash
Lots of tuneability tricks (switches for phase, impedance, etc)

Here's mine:

There is also a tape to headphone-jack adapter going to my iPod

I've got a 5.5 (?) inch speaker in each door and one in each of the cubby hole covers in the back

All was from the previous owner, except the pimp tape adapter for my iPod

Oh, and db: about 5, 6 on a good day

Thanks. I bought it with the 6.5's and the tweeters in the back. Everything else I added over the years. Just kept adding as the time went. The only other thing I may do is add something like a 800W x 4 or 400W x 4 for everything but the sub.

I installed my new head unit a Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X492
(AUX 3.5MM front, front USB port w/iPod control/mass storage capable jump/thumb drives, 3 sets of 4 volt pre-outs(front, rear, sub) dual zone(can play usb,cd,radio or aux on front speakers and on the rear separately), internal eq, high/low pass crossovers, bluetooth,

I got the unit on Ebay for $109.99 and free shipping, I wanted this because of all the features and when I put my 8 Kicker 10's in here I think the player might skip so the AUX and USB will come in handy and I will be using 2 amps HIFONICS XX-JUPITER 4 Channel Amplifier and a HIFONICS XX-COLOSSUS Super Class-D Subwoofer Amplifier so the internal eq and crossover and 3 sets of pre-outs will be nice

and my Audio control EPIC 150 (bass restoration, voltage meter, internal mic(measuring db)

Back in the competition days, we had a saying for setups like that ... ghetto.

Seriously - no way the sub takes a box that big and with all that airspring your power handling is seriously compromised. Bigger is not always better!

(The previous comments have been brought to you in the hopes of improvement, not to be mean)
