Need help. Water temp sensor thread

Was screwing in my new temp sensor for the gauges on my truggy when this happened?

Anybody know the actual sensor thread that goes into the adapter? I'm guessing it's some kind of NPT.

Red face

If your trying to put that manual temperature probe into that adapter you broke most likely it is not going to work as you found out

It bottomed out before it tightened up

The best way is into the top radiator hose they make metal tubes with the correct size fitting welded in or you can make your own.

I make my own

I would have to double check the correct size of the threads in the manifold

Well it already had a probe in the manifold and I has replacing it. It didn't bottom out from what I can tell. I was barely tightening it at all
