Hey to All,

Thanks again for all the comments......I am loving my baby so much and I do not regret bringing it over from Japan.

Any thoughts on handling or maintenance with this kind of a lift?? This is very new to me.

A few responses to comments made:

**The extra mirror is law in Japan and it is used for parking. Standard Issue on all surfs and other SUV vehicles.

**I dealt directly with a dealer in Japan and worked everything out to get it to me here in the Bahamas.

**I almost got diesel but finding a shop to do work on it is not easy and the few that are around are just a nightmare on the wallet.

Thanks again guys and keep the comments coming.....it is much appreciated!!

Are those stock flares or a Toyota replacment part?

People over here think the Limited's flares (which are probably less than half as wide) are too wide but your's obviously fit your tire choice.

The flares are a Toyota Replacement part from what I understand.

As far as the differential....not sure......how would I check that to see if it is a locked or limited slip?

Cost was not so bad......$7000 including shipping.

Again, if anybody can give me advice on handling this beast and also on any special concerns for maintenance with a lift like this.

THANKS,
Skylacker

there isnt very much erxtra maintenance with the lift it looks like a body and suspension.look at ur front tires periodacly and if they r wearing evenly than ur lift is doing fine.when u change ur oil just look around for loose looking bolts or anything that looks worn.a rig clean like thast is probably going to stay a street queen so ur not really abusing the lift u should be just fine driving it like ur minivan just notn so fast around crners.nice ride

The tires are Goodyear Wrangler 315 75r16.

Thanks for the thoughts on handling and maintenance also.
