Lost a part when I removed the rear drive axle
I removed the rear drive axle to tow the truck on Monday. I was pretty sure there was a part on the drive axle that was just stuck and not part of the axle. Now all I see on the axle is a bowl. Should there be any cover to either of these two parts?

The part I'm referring to is in the center before I match up the drive axle.

It was late and I was in a hurry. The thing seemed stuck to the flange yoke of the drive axle so I threw the axle in the back of the truck and left. Any ideas?
Also, how important is it to line up the flanges when reconnecting?

Probably just the light... It was dark and all I could think about was getting back on the road.
Thanks toyzilla. Went ahead and primed and painted the driveshaft while it was out. Hope to stick it back in tomorrow or Thursday before my new engine gets here...
