looking for ideas for paint

i'm looking for some ideas for a paint scheme on my 1st gen. i have no imagination for this stuff. i don't know how to use computer programs to help either.

this is what i'm starting with, i was thinking of something lurid like yellow zebra stripes or something to give it character, not just black.

maybe a white center section on the hood, anything but just plain black or hot pink

thanks for the support. The construction up here has fallen off BAD!!!!

You have a very clean 4runner on your hands, i'd black out the grill and leave it alone for now.

what size tires / what size rims. on my 92 i have 31-10,.5 -15 on 15x8's but on the 88 4runner we just got w/ SR5 rims stamped 15x7 they also have 31-10.5-15's. that 1'' width difference seems to translate to extra height and a skinnier profile (although i can see on the 4runner that it has integrated fender flares that cover the tires).this is an issue right now because i got stopped by a state trooper and warned that the tires on my 92 stick out too much (2'') so i'm shopping for fender flares.
anyway,i was told 18 years ago when i first got my 92 (oct 1991) that to have the wider tires i would have to bump up to the 8'' width wheels but apparently that's not true seeing the 88 4runner w/ the same size tires on skinnier rims. thoughts.....................

checkerboard the center section of the hood. get a bunch of stencils and go crazy. i would like to see a tie dye personally. better yet paint it with chalkboard paint and keep a tub of chalk in your truck, a new design after every car wash and it would entertain kids for hours.

Do the body flat black and all accents ie, wheels, bumpers, door handles and grill, gloss black. You could even overlay some black high gloss eighties stylie pin stripes on the body. Or other way around. Buff your ish out and flat everything else. Black is it. Dig the rims. Although, Hooligan your rig looks phenomenal.
