Lock-rite questions

Hey guys, I got a lock-rite in my 91 p/u. It has been clunking loudly, and causing me to swerve a bit when going straight. If it were just around corners I wouldnt worry.
I have done some research and I found out there are pins in this thing that can wear down. Can anyone lead me to some info on where to get these pins(if its even possible) and maybe how to go about replacing them(again...if possible). I'm thinking if it's toast and needs a new lock-rite all together... I'm gonna go back to the open diff, and save my $ for an arb.

Take out the diff and replace the pins, it is very easy to do. They even make a Lock Right rebuild kit.

What weight gear oil are you running???

I noticed the thicker oil helped mine stop being as quirky.. Im running the redline heavy duty shock proof and its all good so far..

Here is some step by step directions:

1. remove the diff

2. remove the lockright locker

3. Throw that piece of junk away, and get a detroit.

I had a lockright, and had nothing but issues. The exact same problem you are having matter of fact. Mine was unfixable due to a damaged housing from the pins breaking.
